We are delighted to announce that CRISMAR RESEACRH had the extraordinary opportunity to participate in EPICENTER CALL and won the project "IoT Smart Viticulture Management system for better environmental sustainability" -IoTSMART.

 

The aim of the project is to implement a smart vineyard system in a wine-growing region that will integrate the necessary sensors for precision viticulture and meteorology and an advanced analytical engine that enables the latest approach to artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies.  for data processing, modelling and security. In the case of monitoring, IoTSMART will use drone-like devices that will perform continuous measurements and operations in the fields about the condition of the vines, grapes, and based on the images captured, those interested will see if a particular treatment is needed. The web and mobile interfaces suitable for viewing sensor information and recommendations to growers are easy to understand and use and focus on the needs, requirements and interests of growers. IoTSMART aims to work together with robots. On the one hand, it is very important to know all the parameters around viticulture, but on the other hand, it is very useful to have information about available devices and machinery.
